It happened a couple of times. Still made the save, but not controlling the puck and/or grabbing it like I should.

That is exactly what I was experiencing. I'd throw up the glove to catch the puck, and it would deflect off. Chakal's term "controlling" the puck is right on as I was having the same problem. I guess like anything it will take time to get used to this new size.
