i have to concur with Gasman, i was a little surprised in the improvement of this pad as well. I loved the protection of the old ones, but would suffer endless bruising on the front of my knee from pieces jabbing into me. I wear mine currently under compression pants, and they stay PERFECTLY in place. This is the only knee pad ive worn that i didnt have to tape as well. I have skinny legs hand have always had problems with these sliding down. I only have about 20 ice times on them, so cant say too much about durability issues, but so far, look brand new.
