I have to give credit to "velo2" for the single break idea -- I know he's a big proponent of this mod and I love it too.
Also to anybody looking at Vaughn pads, I definitely recommend getting at least a +2" thigh rise. Vaughn's stock thigh rises are relatively small, and having gone from +0" to a +2.5" I can tell you that it makes a big difference (in a good way).
If anyone's wondering why I went with a 2.5" thigh rise, it's because I couldn't decide between 2" and 3", and yes I thought it would be cool to be the only one I know with 2.5
