I asked Marc about the internal flap thingy, as it felt uncomfortable at first, too. (I Started a thread about it I think) I have 2 VK5's now, and couldn't be happier.
(For the record, I hated my PS2. I have extreme (injury) issues in evaluating a glove though. If your own hand structure makes it feel wrong, it might be. But give it a chance...
