Completely agree with having the tools in the toolbox. It's important to not be too predictable. I too am a predominately butterfly goaltender, but I like to be able to mix it up with a pad stack or an aggressive slide out towards a cutting shooter coming at a bad angle. It's easy to sit back on a play and let it come to you (which a lot of the time is the best play), but that is not always the right play either. Nothing is 100% effective 100% of the time (which, in the end, is why goals are scored).
