this thread just goes off on all sorts of tangents, wasn't this thread just a question of what this goalie school was about, not if stacking the pads is legit or not? BTW mingoaldude, if the B-fly was the answer to every shot, there SHOULD be no goals scored on you if your so textbook about it. Also, if you play varsity hockey, wouldn't you be watching the video tapes with your goalie coach? not just by yourself and your dad.
if you have NEVER made a save out of desperation, then you have given up on some plays and stacking the pads may be a desperation save, why not learn it FOR those desperation saves.
