My guess is you wont have much luck with the manufacturer replacing them, for free anyway. Especially if the type of concrete surface you played on was a street or something similar. They are probably going to be able to tell pretty quickly upon hands-on inspection that you were playing on a rough surface. If they deny a free replacement and you actually get to talk to someone about it, plead for a compromise. You have nothing to lose at this point (except maybe your toes).
Hopefully they will at least offer a discount replacement since you took the time to ship 'em back. Best of luck man.
