Fights happen in hockey. Nad(less)eau should've had the balls to defend himself! All this "charge him with assault" business is balderdash! It's a friggin hockey game! It's not like he beat him with a broom handle or pulled an uzi on him! It's not like used his stick or any other piece of his goaltending equipment as a weapon. In my mind, the ONLY time an assault charge should ever even be discussed in reference to a hockey game is when a stick or another piece of equipment that could be considered a weapon is involved. Otherwise, you're playing in a hockey game, and fighting is part of the territory.

So everyone who plays hockey should expect to get into a fight regardless of if they are willing to do so or not? Take your head out of your ass (or your lips off off either of the Roy's) and think about what you are saying. The only time an assault charge should be discussed is if a weapon is used?

Good to know you'd "do the same damn thing weather the coach instructed you to or not" - man it's so cool to be a tough guy over the interwebs eh? I'll bet you play with pro players and stone them all, stop like 75 shots every game you play and 'would have made the show but....'.
Honestly just stop.
