Jimbo, I had the same problem with my X-Factor catcher being really stiff. I had used it for over a year and it still wasn't broken in. I started putting a softball in the pocket (so the pocket wouldn't collapse) and left the catcher closed in my bag. It made a HUGE difference after a couple weeks. It's perfect now. Hopefully this will help.
