That's the thing is they showed up for the game. In as much as these guys will turn around after a quadruple overtime win, a win that capped off two series of extremely physical play, it was obvious they were playing like they had concrete in the skates. I don't think this game was indicative of the Stars play for the rest of the series, just the game after one of the longest games they've played. I understand these guys are professionals, and with the playoffs comes that chance of long games, but you can only train so much. Little prep time after trying to recuperate, it was the Red Wings game to lose. What would have been really sad was for Red Wings to have lost, not so much that the Stars did. I think they'll get their legs under them again, they know the pace the Red Wings are going to set, and they know that if they get close enough to Osgood they can beat him, they just have to make sure they don't beat themselves first. I still think it's going to be a good series, and as a Stars fan, they deserve to still be believed in.
