I saw Nas was mentioned, his Streets Disciple double CD is my favorite full album of his.
I know he isn't 'old school', but in my mind Eminem is the one of the top 5 rappers of all time. Everyone of his CD's are incredible.

. He's talented, no doubt, but there are quite a few out there, old and new that could have easily taken his spot. His being a white MC made it easier for the industry to sell him to mainstream america. Truly, lets just put him in on open mic against sayyyy, Busta Rhymes, or KRS, or Talib, and the R aka Rakim! Slim would have to work hard to take down any of the aforementioned MCs IMO.
