Maybe a little late, but I'll throw my 2 cents in....I use a spray bottle of about 80% water and 20% straight vinegar, spray them liberally, let dry at room temperature, and bingo, their soft again. I've done this on all my gloves (goalie and player) and the only issue I saw was they smelled just a tad funny the first time using them, but after once, their good to go. Good luck!
