I can see that the sides of the stomach are a bit exposed. That could be an issue depending on how the pad integrates with my pants. Looks like it offers nice rib protection, since the pad wraps around the body. May take the (adjustable/toggle) straps from my old C/A and have it sewn in. That will definitely cinch the pad a bit tighter to the stomach.
