Actually, I didn't doze off at all. It just makes me wish for the time to take a Keeks' coaching session.
I know I need this really badly. I also need to improve the stick side b/f slide. I can do it with the one pad flush to the ice, but that means my trailing leg pad isn't flush with the ice [till I am almost stopped] and the knees are not together as I slide across. I try to compensate by covering that 5hole with my stick, but....
Yep, I need 5" knee lifts! That would be nice.
Another thing I'm trying to work on, is to look at the puck at all times. I generally do not follow the puck all the way in. This has lead to some rebounds, where I lose track of the puck and can't get into position for the rebound shot on net.
At least I'm slightly aware of where I need improving.
Now the goalie with the 40" pads, is he 7' tall? Oh, 5'8" you say??? Whoa.
