I play and coach both Ice and roller, I don't see a big diffrence in goaltending between the two. There are subtle diffrences though, In roller hockey you need a deeper crouch to get enough power to move across, also you tend to need you glove/blocker up a bit higher in roller hockey cause with those arena pucks even johnny nobody can have a shot. T pushes are key however I can butterfly on sportcourt. It just takes some extra power and a slightly diffrent technique. The only problem is adjusting to ice afterwards, if you push like you would in roller hockey you'll end up in the boards or nocking your own net off (trust me on that).
