I asked if anyone knew the current mission statement or military objectives? I don't think making money is an acceptible answer no matter how badly you view the U.S. and it's business and military ethics. I will inquire elsewhere. My personal opinion on why the U.S. invaded Iraq? First off I really don't believe the full reason(s) has been been fully disclosed. I think the U.S. invaded Iraq under the pretense of finding WMD's in order to justify the invasion but that it may have been to stablize the Mid-East and to establish forward bases for future potential conflicts in this region having to do with balancing the power between the Saudi's, Israel, Iran, and all the bit players in the region. This is just my opinion based on conversations I have with people who are in the war business. My opinion and only of value to me.
