Richter Fan: Sounds like you're doing the right things. Your comment about being in shape before P90X is dead on. As well as the diet too. I am not following the diet but I am getting adequate results. I know if I did the diet I could be down 15 or more lbs but as is I am down about 10-12.

Update. I am at the end of week one of Phase 2. Let me say....that 'recovery week' tricks your ass. With the exception of the Core Synergistics, it is a week to cruise through. Your body relaxes and gets comfortable in its current state.

Then day one of Phase 2 rolls around....Duck with an F is all I can say. God damn....wasn't expecting that. Kicked my arse for sure. Rest of the week has proceeded similarly.

Also came to the realization that I need to purchase some bands, in fact I am going to do it right now.....I've been using a cable pull down on a universal to simulate the pull ups because the pull up rack in the exercise room is just inadequate for P90X and what I need. Poorly designed I might add. And Back/Bicep day exposed the weakness of the cable pull down on the corn cob pull up. I should be able to use the bands properly in the exercise room with no issues as I will wrap the bands around the universal machine at a specific point. I checked this out yesterday to see if I can continue doing this week in that exercise room.

Anywho...I am 5 weeks in. I started around 212 and I jumped on a scale last weekend and was @ 200. Not sure what my BF% is but I am going to grab a BF scale this weekend as well. Target is still around 180. We'll see if I meet it or exceed it. I am targeted to finish around the 4th of July. I should have an after pic around that time. I have no before pics as state above. But I will post a pic of what I looked like in a monkey suit at my sis-in-law's wedding 2 days before I started. That should be a good reference point.
