Hmmm, interesting. I play on ice, and my mask really never sees any extreme heat unless it's the short trips to and from the rink, otherwise it's in my room inside my house with the ceiling fan going. I don't see where it would see any more heat than anyone playing up north quite frankly.
I'm still up in the air about the croc foam, I mean I like it for the first few times I've used it, I just think I need to give it a few months for a thorough review. No complaints as of right now, and I really don't anticipate that I won't like it. I will say this.. it has a slight bit more of grip to the head than the standard padding, but doesn't effect the feel for the good or bad IMO....
