Sell those RBK knee pads, and grab a newer version of them with straps going above and below the knee caps to hold the pad in place. Like this one:



It has two straps above the knee, and two below, holding it in place. It also has the removable plastic thigh guard which moves up when down in the butterfly, offering more protection in the thigh region when your pants slide up. My pants don't slide up much when I'm in the b-fly, so I just removed it (I have Mckenney Pro pants). But, I suppose it works well for some. They don't impede upon my V2's at all.

So far, mine have held up nice, and I don't have many issues with the knee pads sliding down my leg. I haven't got a single stringer in the thigh and knee region for almost 6 months. Judging from all the puck marks on the knee pads, they're doing their job

Maybe someone else will have a more economical way of helping you, though
