We have our boards raised on 3/4" steel blocks all the way around the rink. These steel blocks are notched to allow up to 11" of length-wise expansion of the IceCourt floor. As it gets warmer and the floor expands, it just slides under the dasherboards. This system has completely eliminated the problem of buckling floor tile at our rink.
