Since RobbF's visit, I have been dying to get me one of them Miller CM8 catchers. I also needed some new goal pants. So I ordered from Paul. Here's my review.

Working with Paul over the phone was a pleasure and the wait time was extremely reasonable (just over 1 month). I sent him info such as a description of colors, measurements, features, etc and he was right on the money when I saw the products.

I always have scoffed a bit when I see people asking "should I get Vaughn,Heaton, Brians or..." because the best equipment is right here under their noses!!!

The catch glove is extremely well made and light as a feather yet protective as can be. I especially like the back of the hand protection which was nonexistent on my previous glove (Reactor). The glove can also be practically dismantled and dillied with by undoing the eons of velcro, straps, and strings. Without doubt you will be able to adjust this glove to fit your most petty fit preferences. The custom color scheme on the glove was exactly as I imagined when I relayed the info to Paul. And glove feels fairly broken in right from the start. Game ready right from the box, and damn good looking too!
But the glove is not totally without complaint. The first thing I noticed when I looked at the glove is the deeply curved cheater cuff seemed to reduce blocking area significantly. Verification of this was pretty apparent when I compared it directly to my Reactor which has a straight cheater cuff. The Miller loses nearly 1/2 an inch of blocking area because of the deep curve. The other thing I noticed was that RobbF's CM8 glove had a "lip" across the top of the cheater cuff, supposedly to prevent pucks from banking upwards off the top of the cuff. My glove had no such thing. The cheater cuff looks just like a letter "C"- that's how curved it is.
But the lightness and comfort of the glove more than makes up for the cheater cuff complaint, for now at least. And the simple fact that if a puck hits this glove- it ends up in the pocket every time. My old glove was never very reliable like this.

As for the pants, Miller CM9 with optional 1" side and 5 hole blocks. Again, the color coordination was perfect. The pants are very protective but like all other goal pants I've had, the back of the leg and inner thigh protection is skimpy, if nonexistent. The fit of the pants based on my over-the-phone measurements were dead on though. Nice job!
This is a great pant and I am very satisfied. My complaints are minimal but here they are. First, I wish the pants were as broken in as the glove was! They were so stiff I could hardly bend over to tie my skates! This will certainly pass over time though. The only other complain was I didn't care much for the belt fastening system. It came undone on me a couple times during the first use and cinching the belt snugly (which I prefer) is not simple with the mechanism. My old pants have a much simpler and more effective fastener. I actually ended up replacing the belt with my old one- which was not as easy as I'd hoped because the belt is completely enclosed in the pants (much like the string on sweatpants).

I love the pants though and can't till they break in. BTW-Adjusting to the 5 hole blocks was much easier than I expected (actually it was instant), but I can't say they've saved me any goals.
