But until then, I think that ANYONE who tries to force any 8yo child to play just one position (contrary to the kid's stated desires--it's something else entirely if the kid only likes one position) in ANY sport is a complete and utter moron.
Seriously, if their third friggin' tournament championship trophy was so effin' important to them, I'd have spent the $20 to buy them another friggin' trophy -- heck, I'd even have it engraved with their team name for no extra charge instead of the generic "Mite Champions" nameplate on their other tourney trophies.
