I'll vouch for the answer above -- no passport needed to DRIVE over the border this year, but you will need proof of citizenship (such as a Certified Birth Certificate -- not a regular photocopy, but the one with the governmental seal on it) and government picture ID (such as driver license or other ID card issued by gov't).

As the mother of an 8yo goalie with 1 year of experience, we'd be there in a heartbeat if the timing had worked out for us! We've taken Dom to three similar "weekend clinics" (including one when he was 7yo with 4mos experience!) that were put on by members of goalie forums and everyone has always taken the little guy in like any other member of the goalie community.
Shooters and coaches have always tailored the drills to the needs of every goalie -- size, skill, and expertise level -- so that the more experienced goalies are challenged (faster shots, more deking moves, etc.) and the less experienced goalies (including the older goalies with less experience) are still challenged but aren't blown away (slower/lighter shots, less deking).
You won't be disappointed in either the goalie training or the socializing, I promise!
