Improved, yet the same
. The top flap improves armpit hits, yet i find it a little annoying for movement. To me it still doesn't wrap around enough on the ribs. i still prefer my v2 ( custom) with an extra 2 inches of rib protection that i ordered from vaughn. however, to me the v3, like the v2, still offers unsurpassed mobility, rebound control and protection.
