If it is inside front you might be landing on the seam for the knee blocks and bruising your soft tissue when you're being aggressive. If it is along the bottom or back I would say you could be landing on the edge of the padding. Unless you have time to think about it or do it early on like in warm ups you won't figure it out right away, I also seem to remember someone on here mentioning having to much lift or padding also causing this sort of problem.
