Not sure if this counts, but as a Bantam I played a game late one night in January at Dartmouth College in NH and, after getting lost on the way up and on the way back, did not get back home in Massachusetts until about 2:30-3:00 in the morning. Had a game the next morning at 8:00am in Pittsfield (about 2 hours away). My dad and I get up, throw my still soaking wet gear in the back of the pick up, and start the drive.
A little more than half way there, we realize that soaking wet gear and sub-zero temeratures is probably a very bad combination. So we stop, and sure enough, my C&A is frozen stiff! We then took the gear, stuffed it in the cab, and placed the C&A on the window defroster on the dash to try and thaw it out! Needless to say it didn't thaw all that well, and only worked to make the interior of the truck smell like hot, old-cheese-gear-funk-stank. I then had to thaw it out the old fashioned way...
