i am a second year midget goalie, so wat i wanna see in drills to improve my game is similar to wat those kids wanna see.
ALL REFLECT GAME SITUATIONS
Work on Angles (moving off of post and squaring up etc)
Shot Prep must be aloud
NO RAPID FIRE DRILLS, these only teach bad habits
Movement, we hate doing it but movement with no pucks helps
Breakaways only as fun, this is a skill i feel i had to develope on my own
NO RAPID FIRE DRILLS again

Drills for Reaction
Drills for Blocking
Rebound drills
Ouck "Pursuit" type drills (following a player from behind the goal line out across the slot, keepin in psition for a shot at any time etc)
Screen Shots (make sure not to just be sniping, take shots that would be taken if a screen were in place)
NO RAPID FIRE DRILLS
