Thanks for the info... I've gathered that with the exception of the 5000's the 1,2, and 4000 series trappers/blockers are all the same structurally. Is that correct?

Heres an important question. I used a set of Vaughn V1's for exactly one practice. I strongly disliked them. Are the Smith gloves comparable to the V1's in any way? I had a lot of problems with pop outs with the V1 catcher and just the general comfort of both the trapper and blocker.. granted they were used gloves but still.
