Maybe talk to the hockey shop.

There are many good masks that are not CSA approved but are far superior to ones that are.

However, many organizations require equipment like helmets and masks to be CSA approved (i.e. need that sticker).

If this is the case in your league and/or camp, maybe the hockey shop should be aware of what masks are CSA approved and which masks they should be selling to 15 yr olds.

Maybe they can help you out with replacing your mask or something.

Or maybe the guy at your camp is out to lunch.
