One thing that makes me angry is when people ask about my mask/gear and I tell them how much I paid and what kind of stuff I have they say "you paid THAT MUCH for gear to play scrub and pick up hockey?". What? because I play scrub and pickup I should be wearing some cheap POS itech with some stickers on it and maybe some old stand up Cooper pads or something? I cant enjoy my hobby?
I will ALWAYS follow up their comment by asking what their hobby is, one guy said dirtbiking so I asked him if he was a pro and he laughed and said "no just a weekend warrior" so I asked him "what kind of bike?" he said he had a 2006 Kawasaki KX 125 and went on to tell me about the performance mods and so on and I stopped him and said... "you spent THAT MUCH just ride in a gravel pit with your buddies?".. he laughed and said... fair enough.
