padded undershirt - can anyone identify
Was at a Junior A tournament over the weekend and players from the previous game were sitting in the stands waiting for their next game.
The goalie was wearing a black wicking undershirt with additional padding sewn over the shoulders and rib area. It wasn't an RBK shirt or McDavid or Zoombang as I know what they look like. This additional padding was about 4 inches wide and and one inch thick. The padding was comprised of a grid of small squares (1/2" by 1/2") with a small indentation in the center. It was all covered in the same wicking nylon as the shirt. A forward on the same team had an entire shirt (white) covered in the same padding with plastic shoulder caps like a traditional forward shoulder pad would have.
I want to say the manufacturer was Merrill, but a google search hasn't retrieved any matches. Can anyone help ?
