If you're facing a lot of 2 on 0's the real problem has nothing to do with goaltending...

But when a 2-0 does develop, you've got to play the puck carrier. If you cheat for the pass you are just giving the puck carrier a freebie.

If you've taken away the shot, and the puck carrier passes I think the best option is to stack the pads. And I'm assuming this is a high-tempo game on ICE.

Stopping a 2-0 is going above and beyond the line of duty, and should result in extra free beers from your teammates (especially the ones who got burnt, resulting in the 2-0).
