Keep in mind that one can only suggest guidelines for people as different people can react differently plus different "experts" can be decidedly in disagreement as to what is right and wrong.

My opinion:

Peanut butter is certainly a healthy vitamin packed food and a great way to add calories of a good nature. Its also an excellent source of protein. It can be added to your "shakes" for a great new taste and calorie power punch.

Absolutely, peanut butter and nuts are good for you. But like anything else you need to be "smart" about things. If you eat a lot of nuts, you are going to pack up your intestines, so it is even more important that you keep BRAN flowing in your daily diet. And although the fats in the nuts are good - they will be killers like anything else if you dont keep your training in check.

About Mens Health etc. those pictures of the male models with statuesque figures are very motivational when next to an article about ie. peanuts. But dont forget, the package you are looking at is the result of a COMPLETE package - an all around smart diet combined with meaningful workouts.

Yep, peanut butter is "approved" BUT NOT ON WHITE BREAD AND JELLY IN THE MIX!
