I was considering getting an inner baseball glove that has built in palm padding. there's a selection of them here:

I also have a Heaton Helite Z Sr. Catch. 2005 model. I used to get some stingers now and then. I sort of remolded the pocket though. When it wasn't in use, I just had my glove pressed up against something to push down on the center of the T, this made the pocket deeper and a lot wider, gave my glove a much more rounded overall shape. Now everything I catch hits the pocket or just roles around inside the palm until it finds its way to the pocket. No more pop outs. No bounces off the palm. And no stingers (I think that pushing my pocket out wider changed the angle of the palm a little, focusing everything on the pocket).

And it makes me look like I have an amazing glove
