Bandits Young Gun In Training!

It amazing what one year of training can do to a young goalies ambition to improve. An individual’s ability to learn and develop within a short period of time is caused by their attention to detail in their own game and how they prepare each time they step on the ice.

Below is a short video that will show how in just one year an individual can become not just a student of the game at 9 years old but they can also progress to a point were improvement in visibly noticeable.

Great job this year M.W!

amazing what a year can do..... tell him to keep up the good work... and have fun...

perhaps have him fitted for a stick that is his size though.... that paddle is massive for his height.

Yep, he's a hard worker all right! Loves the game and is eager to learn ALL the time! If he's not talking hockey...it's video games!

As for the stick, he now uses a smaller paddle (TPS composite 25") which is more suitable for his height/stance. He has several different sticks and always fools around with each one to see how it effects his game. The 25" has been the most effective stick for his stance, movement, butterfly etc.

When a goaltender has the proper training and mentorship, the improvement is endless!
