Edge work, step outs and breakaways

Below are two video clips of a drill that throws a little of everything at the goalie which includes butterfly slides, step outs and even a breakaway.

This drill works on several different aspects of a goalies game:

- head, hands, and feet
- stepping out off the post
- holding white ice

Thanks for the compliment. We’re always creating unique drills that will challenge each goalie in every situation. Learning is key especially when you’re at a camp that has quality shooters at every station.

Haha the little kid in the first video looks to be a hell of a lot faster than the kid in the second video.

Yes, the young goalie in the video above is a 97 birth year and already plays at the AAA level. He's a very talented goalie and as you can see his fundamentals are very solid for his age. Great kid, hard worker and is a true student of the game!
