A "Non-Hockey" Forum

I would like to propose the idea of a Non-Hockey forum. Just a place for us to talk about everything besides goaltending.

I know there are other boards for that, but since we are a little community and everyone pretty much knows each other, it would be nice to talk about other things as well.

If you'd like to talk about your car, or opinions on classes at school, etc.

This way, other forums wouldn't get cluttered with talk about topics not related to the forum name.

to expand a bit on oddz's idea, it would be interesting to see a place to put lacrosse forum, i'm not sure how many laxers come here, but the goalie store does have a maxlax section....

to date, i know of only 4 laxers on these boards

How about a Bedris forum too. only bedris would be allowed on it and he wouldn't be allowed on any of the other forums. He'd just have to argue and make stupid comments to himself. It would for sure be the forum with the most posts in no time.

As long as you periodically throw a newbie in there for me to mess with, then it sounds fine.

This is a GREAT idea! Like, "will the rash go away on its own, or do I need looser-fitting underwear?"
I never knew WHICH forum to put that in.

Beddie, I never took it as anything but fun.

And as for that rash, Kev, I think there are some things that are left unsaid in any thread..

I definitely think there SHOULD be a Lacrosse forum under the goalie doctor, the problem is, you'd then have divide it into box lax and field lax, since goaltending for the two are entirely different!

As for an "off-topic" forum, I like it too. Some of the other BB's I go to have MORE traffic in their off-topic forum than anywhere else. IMO, that's a good thing. It's nice to be able to go somewhere that you'll find people with similar interests, but you can discuss all kinds of other things.

I Agree!

I agree that we need a non hockey forum...where else am I going to talk about going to se SPIDER-MAN tonight?!!! What a baddass flick! Spidy Kicks ass!! What about Kirsten Dunst in that Rain scene?! WOW!!! Nice nips!!! I love the movie...I know the the sequel will have the Green Goblin II, or they will show Harry getting ready to become the Green Goblin II in the third installment (if there ever is one) They set that one up perfect. I liked how they followed the story line for the most part...outstanding movie! I can't wait to see #2.

great idea !
maybe a familiar twist of an old idea with the bedris only forum, how about the newbies have to spend 1 week in that forum with bedris and ask all their favorite questions there first ! and when the rest of us mess up/post in wrong forum/ etc. we get 5 minites in the box with bedris. we can call it "the bedris box". or maybe "thunder dome". aahhh I can hear the chants now...two men in, one man out... as we huddle around our moniters to watch the carnage. j/k bedris.
