can't get in!

I tried accessing the BB both at my local library and on a friend's computer. Both times I got the home page up but couldn't open the BB due to virus controls.
What to do?
As a techie, I suck!

Seriously. So I can use the BB at work , but not anywhere else. As I work 4on/4off I can't follow ongoing threads. I don't have a computer at home. Well, I do, but playful Rottweiler puppies and monitors don't mix, so I found out.
Please help the non-tech loser!

And yes, my personal life is similar. Sigh.

Isn't that because you registered yourself on this BB on your computer at work and not home.
Because each computer has its code and once you register on the BB, the BB knows you are that guy with that code.
Soo when you go to the BB with another computer, you go with another code and the BB won't recognize this code that's why.

Try deodorant...

As for your computer problem, sounds like your machine's got a bad case of the heevie-jeevies! Seriously though, seems like your buddy's computer and the library's computer (Kev at the library? I didn't know you could read!) have some sort of app that blocks out certain types of sites, such as BB's, as a safety precaution.

That's my uneducated guess.

It's probably the evil Internet Explorer 6 Cookie Monster again.

Did you do a search?

I still have not upgraded to IE 6, and I will not do so ever. IE 5 is just fine.

Yes, having more powerful security options is a terrible thing
