Equipment Classified Section Suggestion

I know that worthless posts have been discussed in the past as taking up too much room on the BB. Why not have a moderator go through all of the old posts in the Classified section and delete any of them that do not pertain anymore due to equipmet being sold. Just an idea on one way to clean up a little bit of the clutter.

Actually it seems to me that you could just delete any post in the equipment classifieds that hasn't been active for a 30 day period or so.

why do we have to bother the moderators with this? If the person who sold the stuff just hit the edit button and delete the whole thread ther wouldn't be a problem (not that there is one now )

I don't see why anyone needs to bother about it at all. Brett has never said that space has been a problem it's jut a few BB members that have assumed it is. If Brett doesn't have a problem with it I don't have a problem with it.

I also believe that the archive of old equipment classifieds is a valuable tool in the absence of a definitive "Blue Book" on used equipment values.

Because if all of the old stuff is deleted, what will we do a search on if it has been deleted? Thats i think why he doesn't delete it.
