How do you change the veteran bit under your name to something else?????

I think, but I am not positive, that it is based on the number of posts you have.

It goes from rookie , to veteran , to soething vet , to grizzled vet depending on posts BUT you can change it to something else like

follow my instructions


Click "user control panel" then "edit profile" scroll down until you see "Custom User Text:" in the text box is where you can change your thingy-ma-bob

i think you have to be atleast a vet. that way rookies (no offense to you) wont change their status to vet

because people with fewer posts than me can do it so its not to do with how many posts you have (unless your a rookie),

I dont think so, bladez and I Have been on this board the same amount of time and he "cant" do it.

I believe it's an option that was only open for a little when when the board re-opened, but it's no longer available. At one time I thought it was an option only for grizzled vets, but kevinthenet seems to have the option. At one time I also thought you had to have registered before a certain time, but I noticed that I registered earlier than kevin and I do not have the option.

Thanks Dave I remember seeing that option when the new bb opend from the old bb, but I never thought about it at the time , so by the looks of things, if you didn't change it while it was available, you cant do it atall.

That's not it, because bedris keeps changing his all the time. Someone should ask Brett about it, and ask him to fix it if he can.

I think what was meant was that if you used the option when it was available, it remained open for you. That's probably why bedris can change his whenever he wants.
