Off ice simulation

I have access to ice time about once every 2 or 3 weeks. Does anyone know anything (drill/game/etc) that kind of simulates goaltending that doesnt require ice time?

if only we had a league in our small midwestern town... or enough people to make up a team for that matter. Our team this season consisted of me, 4 defensemen, and 6 forwards.

I wouldn't worry about doing goalie specific stuff away from the ice. I would work on your overall athletic ability and conditioning as well as hand-eye coordination.

Definitely try a slideboard. I just made one and it helps with off-ice conditioning and skating skills so much. Worth at least checking out. Look into making a balance board as well. Great for helping with movement and balance.

you could also trying playing baseball or soccer-

soccer will improve your foot speed and agility, and will also help with those anerobic burst.

Baseball will improve your hand/eye coordination and read & react ( particularly at third base or short)

Just keep moving and have fun. You're only 13, right? too young to be super specializing.
