Mission Statement: The Goalie Store Bulletin Board is an open forum dedicated to all things goaltending. The purpose is to give goaltenders, coaches, parents and anyone interested a central meeting place for a free exchange of ideas, instructional tips, equipment reviews and questions, general goaltending and hockey conversation, as well as a place to buy and sell used equipment (free of charge). The Board is to be a welcoming environment for youth, novices at the position, and others who seek contact, experience, and advice from the goaltending community. The Goalie Store Bulletin Board welcomes individuals, as well as our peers in the equipment and instruction business to contribute and help advance the art of good goaltending.
The Goalie Store Bulletin Board does NOT welcome any individual, (long or short term member) retail hockey store, equipment manufacturer, or goaltending instructor who joins with a different agenda, or who posts comments intended directly or indirectly to cause:
- Damage or Injury to this board
- Damage or Injury to individuals who participate on this board
- Damage or Injury to any equipment manufacturer, mask builder, mask painter, or any other hockey related company, or individual in such company.
The Goalie Store Bulletin Board does NOT welcome any individual, (long or short term member) retail hockey store, equipment manufacturer, or goaltending instructor who joins with an agenda of self promotion, or who posts to solicit sales and business for personal gain.
Any individual who is deemed to act in a way described above may be permanently banned from the B.B.. without notice or warning.
Goalie Store Bulletin Board Rules of Conduct and expected membership standards
The Following can and will be deemed unacceptable behavior on the Bulletin Board and can/will result in temporary suspension of posting privileges and/or permanent suspension:
- The Posting of Pornography either directly on the board or by links.
- Swearing
- The posting of advertisements or links to advertisements for any hockey or non-hockey related item, service, or product.
- Personal attacks on individual members or individuals that own or operate other hockey and non-hockey related business.
- Behavior that refuses to cease and desist lines of topic, challenged, prohibited or banned by a moderator or administrator of The Bulletin Board.
- Behavior meant to bait and inflame a topic challenged, prohibited or banned by a moderator or administrator of The Bulletin Board.
- Behavior meant to demean, ridicule or discourage others (veterans or rookies) from feeling welcome to participate as an equal on The Goalie Store Bulletin Board OR tries to establish a “climate” contrary to that stated in the Mission Statement of The Goalie Store Bulletin Board.
- Attacks on any equipment company’s products and or services that cross the line of fair, objective review and critique.
Any complaints or problems that may arise from time to time should be addressed to me, not the moderators of the board. I prefer interaction by phone. I find it the most personal and quickest method to resolving conflicts. I reserve the right to add to the rules of conduct in the future as I see fit.
