Shooting the puck

This forum has been such a great source of information... what the He** here is my next question.

I am having difficulty learning how to shoot/pass the puck. As only ever having played (scrub street hockey) as a right handed forward, I am finding it a challange getting any power or height on the puck now shooting left handed with a catcher/blocker.

Any tips on technique that would help?

Bernie I am upset, no long drawn out novel on how to shoot the puck I was hoping for something I could print out and sit and read on the toilet or something.

LOL Daemyn! I'm not sure if people would print it out to read while on the toilet, or use it to wipe their ass!

I would use it for both I am a environmentally friendly goalie Bernie.

Practice in the basement. Just make sure you wear a dust mask for when the drywall flys
