Which way does your stick bend?
I'm a left-handed glove, and I hold my stick in my right hand. The blade of my stick is concave...
oo o o
ooooooooo
I have a nice little pocket to catch the puck in.
Recently, a guy who incidentally is trying to sell me an opposite side goalie stick, told me that a lot of goalies play net with a goal stick that faces convex side out... True? False?
Does anyone here use a stick this way?

I had a guy tell me the same thing playing summer hockey here in Southern Ontario. At the time, I thought he was drunk. This just sounds wierd to me.

We actually had a guy in our inline league playing like that, but I think it was more that he played full-right and couldn't find the right stick...

Have that Brainiac call me so i can sell him a smack in the Dome. He obviously is off his crossbar. What goes through his mind is a puck or something.

How the hell could you direct a rebound to the corner with the stick curved like that?

Hey Jester, Depending on the amount of rivalry never take advice or buy anything from the other goalie on your team!
Aaron did this guy also tell you that it didn't matter if the stick was too short? And that you could just cut it down to size

Ask him if he has a stick stretcher to make it longer.

I actually am a back up goalie for a team. The starter and I have a pretty good relationship. He is very experienced and takes time to help me when I encounter difficulties.
This makes a lot of sense for a starter. If he gets hurt, or sick or whatever, the team needs a goalie to step into his place and beable to weather the storm.
I am very clear about my position on this team, and use what I learn to increase my skills for this team, and the other team I play on.
