Work Out Plan

Does anybody have a good work out plan for goal tending, I have searched and Found nothing (but I know they are out there......)

More specificaly I'm looking for a spreadsheet or some kind of downloadable document that would break it down for an entire week

Monday Legs
3 sets 10 reps squat [ / ]

Etc ... I need to get in better shape, increase my endurance and lose about 50 lbs

Thanks for the help ...

Having reviewed, but not participated in the P90X program, I can say that for an average guy it might be too intensive to start with if you need to lose 50lbs. But it is a solid program, while not necessarily goalie specific.

For a template to work with, here is something I posted a long time ago:

Off Season Training | GoalieCoach.Net

I have the program broken down in an Excel file if you want it. Email me @ rtroth at gmail and I will forward it to you.

It would be awesome to hear anything from Keeks or fiveholegoalie on this!

It would be cool if there was some goalies "workout week" or something to see I think that would be much apreciated

Thumbs up Dude--p90x

I've been doing p90x for 2 weeks now--lost 15 lbs so far--already in better playing shape!! My suggestion would be p90x.

Stryker, you should just go to the gym for 2 months before you attempt something like the px 90. Get a lot of cardio in, get on the bench press, leg press, etc. and just work out your own plan suited to your needs.

There are so many websites that if you google 'workout plan for beginner', you will find endless results.
