UPDATE*Still no call and its been almost a week since tryouts? Protocall?
Well I was at a tryout last weekend and afterwards they said that they will call soon (mon-wed) and I still havnt received a call. Would it be out of line to email the coach and ask if i got cut or not? I would assume I did at this point but they're supposed to call to let me know either wat

Do not hesitate to call. Be polite & respectful but insist on an answer.
In my experience, this delay is not a good sign. Get to the root of the situation so you can plan accordingly.

Wellsie is bang on. It will be a good life lesson not only a hockey lesson. Follow up, follow up, follow up.

It has been over a month since tryouts for me, and the coach called me right away after tryouts telling me I made the team. So I walk in to pay and everything, and the coach cut me because he forgot to put my name on the roster!!!
I say call the coach right away!

Yeah, the week of no reply is generally bad, but do what Wellsie said. Can't hurt to know for sure.

The best thing you can do is call due to the fact that it shows you want the job. heck, I'd have called Tuesday just to prove I want in. As long as you are polite, they will realize how much you want it, which can be a deciding factor with coaches in all sports.

Judging by the pic i'm assuming you tried out for the EJ falcons, you probably won't get a call, the organization is in a huge transition right now and they are pretty disorganized. If this DOES happen to be the team, I really hate to tell you this but the returner (if he dosen't go to the USHL) is slated to play pretty much the entire season. You'd be better off going to the Shamrocks or something.

Thats my HS team, Jr Falcons already cut me 28 goalies showed up and 4 out of 5 picked for both teams were from the organization. This is for their midget team where only 5 showed up, 1 was too old and the other 4 had already played with them
I'll send an email
Thanks

I recommend that you call instead, or even drop in. That way if you didn't make the cut, you can continue with polite questions asking what were the things that kept you from getting the call or what you lacked over the goalies that were picked. Something for you to consider working on for future try outs. This is no different than seeking employment.
Show positive and professional character. You never know, one of the chosen goalies may get injured or a redecision/cut gets made early in the season. You could be that next guy.

Ditto on this.
Always follow up, and if you DON'T make it, insist on an answer (politely). I had an outstanding try-out last year, but didn't make the cut. I didn't think anything of it at first, but it wasn't until it was too late that I learned that the reasoning WASN'T skill related, and it probably could have been sorted out had I bothered to ask a couple questions. You just never know.

I'm not sure if they have a number posted but I'll double check
Evil- Thats what I', afraid of because they have a long history of doing it on politics and who has played before. I had a really good tryout the 1st day then terrible the next but i finished off ok, so its up in the air
Sprawl- You're so badass...
