Timby hacked his account !

Question: Knowing now what this program entails... Would you have done anything differently to prepare for this program? Or is it best to just "dive right in" as you stated earlier?

I did two weeks of a stripped down version to get prepared. Realize that I've kept in reasonable shape all along, but definitely not P90X shape.

Yes, I would recommend doing some basics to dive in to this program....that is why they have the fitness test at the beginning that they want you to take. They want you to be able to pass the minimum requirements to get into it in order to have success, so I recommend you train in some manner until you're able to meet the minimum requirements and then dive in.

Got mine today! Got through the fitness test and surpassed the minimum requirements without too much of a problem. (still suck at pullups)

Now I'm not in poor shape. But I felt as if I had plateau'd. Seeing no substantial results left little motivation to pour hrs into working out. Naturally, after hearing that this workout will leave it virtually impossible to plateau, I had to see what the fuss was all about.

I took before pics for my own reference, and will post them after the 90 days along with the 60 days.

Stats right now

Height: 5'9 (or 6' if i were to go with NHL.com measurements)
Weight: 190
Waist: 33 inch
Sex: yes please

Max before failure:

Pullups: 7
Pushups: 42
Electric Chair time: 4 mins 28s (hurt like a beeyotch)
Vertical leap : 18' (no bball for me)

18 feet? You can start a dunk in the basement and still be alright.

haha, screw you...I'm getting railed on my typo's today.

Anyways, I just finished the Chest/back workout and all I can say is...Holy crap! I can only imagine what the "day later" muscle fatigue will feel like tomorrow morning!

Love it so far!

I can see Tony getting annoying, especially if you have to hear the same lame jokes he makes over again, but overall, I find him to be a helpful voice.

I figure I'm going to get myself back into much better shape before I start it now. Muscle fatigue was bad enough when I started running again two weeks ago. Dealing with that and annoying voice will just result in a broken TV.

How'd you measure your vertical leap anyhow?

Find brick wall and a piece of chalk. Stand next to the wall with chalk in hand. Raise your hand up and mark the wall with the chalk. Take a one step two footed jump and mark the wall as high as you can. Repeat that like 3x and measure the difference.

That's your vertical leap.

Those are the bands "made" for the program. So, yes.

You should be OK...I don't use bands, I invested in a mini home gym last year so I have free weights and a bar to do chin-ups and pull-ups.

My ass has never been this kicked before working out. If you like pain (the good kind of pain!) then you will love this workout.

I found myself cursing at Tony multiple times "You bastard!, ARE U ****ING SERIOUS?"

This is only my 2nd day too haha.

I'm in week two of Phase 2. I thought I had plateaued or been suffering some burn out because I had an awful week 1 of Phase 2...but I was wrong and kept plugging on...Today was a good, hard working day but I tried to do too much. I tried to do a double, Chest/Shoulder/Tri's and Plyos with Ab Ripper....

Did the chest combo and ab ripper during lunch and got 3/4 of the way through plyos when I had to bag it...I wouldn't have had any gas for my game tonight....and I didn't stop early enough because I was out of gas in the 3rd....result a 5-4L when we were up 4-1.....some just awful, lazy, tired goals against.

Not sure how much weight I am down but the toning is happening.

Keep pushing play...keep showing up regardless how you feel mentally or physically.....every day.

I skipped the "classic" program and went straight for the doubles. Only my 2nd day today, but I have a feeling the Plyos Dvd will be one of my favourites. Not looking forward to the 90 mins of Yoga on Thursday, but I will keep my mind open and give it a whirl.

Aside from wanting to punch Tony a couple of times, I really love this program so far!

I would have never given it a second look if it weren't for recommendations from Keeks (and results) and yourself sloth! Thanks!
