Building your own Slideboard?

Hi,
Does anyone know how to make your own slideboard, what material should I use?

short cutting the slideboard

What I found with the slideboard is that the better you get at it the more powerful your push to each side becomes. At some point you start jumping out from side to side which becomes the basic motion of the lateral box (AKA Russian box). The side to side jumping can be done on flat dryland.
