Dufferin, how big of a dude are you?
I have found that when I run (or bike) a lot, I tend to not want to eat crap.
Not eating crap without running or biking daily never works for me.
Lately I haven't ran or biked in a while.
I just inhaled a bunch of Reeses' cups and I feel great!

I dropped 50 pounds in the last couple of years (down to about 205 from 257) by mostly cutting regular soda out of my diet. I drink nothing but diet now. I used to down 6-12 cans of soda a day. That'll kill you.
One thing I will say that I find interesting about diet soda: it gives me gas. Yes, *that* kind of gas. I'm going to say it's probably not good for me, but there's worse things to have!
Work your way into a program. Cheat every once in a while (I do; it keep me from doing it consistently). You don't need to be completely strict about a program, but be pretty consistent in what you do. You still need to enjoy life every now and then. Best of luck!
Oh, yogurt for breakfast and a high-fiber diet will do wonders for most people as well. I eat yogurt and/or raisin bran with almond slices (I add them) and soy milk each morning. Keeps me regular.

Find a football field, get a stop watch. You have 30 seconds to get to the end of the field, then a minute to get back. Do 10 every day. after a week, change it to 120 yards. Youll lose a whole lot of weight this way hahah

If you have muscle under the fat, then you don't need to lose weight lol. I have lots of muscle under my fat and that's why I can pwn skinny goalies in movements.

Well, I am also deiting/eating healthy. In the fisrt 2 weeks of my diet i lost 12 pounds, after that the weight loss slows down and you will loose about 2-3 pounds a week.
I am on the Weight Watchers diet. I found some of my moms old books and started to follow it, and it is working great...
Just eat more of good stuff, and less of the bad stuff. I havnt had any takeout in about a month, and I feel great!

I agree to a point with that. I am 16 atm and still have high motabolism (knock on wood). And I can get away with eating pretty much anything I can find or is put infront of me (However my mother is a heal freak so it is pretty hard to find hardcore junkfood in my house unless I go out).
I >always< make sure to warm up before and stretch so that I dont pull any muscles in the process
For working out I do as many reps of lunges and squats .. starting with 20 squats with a 25 lb weight, then doing 10 lunges, followed by 20 more squats .. etc etc
I do these until my legs are gittery then pop out as many *leap frog* squats as a I can,
After that I do as many crunches as I can with the same 25lb weight
then I rest for a day or 2, until my muscles feel comfortable again and start the whole process again.
I also do as many push ups as I can when ever I remember
.. I am 5'11, and currently weight about 150 lbs

Ok, believe me on this..you WILL fill out. I was exactly the same as you..then i hit 22 and it was like someone put an airhose in my arse and pressed the 'on' button.
So, all i can suggest is to take stretching and diet seriously now so you're body is adjusted for when the big balloning happens. I, for instance, didnt..and now im struggling to keep weight off, lose weight, remain flexible and eat a decent diet while maintaining a decent lifestyle.
In my view, its far better to prepare now for it with a solid foundation that will be second nature to you by the time you start to seize up in the mornings.

I need to lose 40- 45 pounds. For me, loosing weight isn't hard. I did it before and was loosing a consistent 5 pounds through the first 3 weeks of "cleansing " I need to stick to this and I will update each week with my weigh in results. Thank you .
Hopefully you folks can help me get this schedule done for Thursday, my first day. I appreciate your help!

if you are looking to build lean muscle mass, you have to make sure you are eating enough protein. Protein is the building block for muscle, carbs and good fats are your energy source for exercise. I'm guessing that you just don't want to lose weight, but also want to build muscle, so make sure you are eating enough calories to supply energy for your exercise.

Thanks guys.
Morning I had 2 flax seed toasts with light cream cheese. 60 calories in total for the toasts.
Had a apple, tangerine. Lots of water but could have been more. Lunch I had some whole wheat noodles w/ chicken and a very light roasted tomato sauce. I split that so half was for Dinner , half for lunch. In between had some whole wheat crackers with some smoked ham. 5 or 6 crackers and a slice or two of the meat. It was low in calories, I think like 3 slices where 80 calories.
Hopefully I did well. I did 25 mins of good pace ( not slow) on the stationary at a bit above medium tension. Boy did I sweat alot! I guess that's a good sign.
I also did this before hand:
1A) Dumbbell Split Squat - 10 reps per side
1B) "T" Push-up - 10 reps
1C) Overhead Squat - 10 reps
1D) Cross Body Mountain Climber - 30 seconds
1E) Push-up w/Dumbbell Row - 8 per arm
How can I get more Protein? Eggs?

lolssss, no... the more weight you carry the more stress you put on your knees back etc...
the less fat you will trim you will move quicker faster and more efficiently.
Dufferin, what are you looking to do just in general lose weight or put on mass? You sound like your trying to just get into shape?
