Long Island Summer Goalie Clinics

Which GSBB members are coaching them and who's going to be a student? Anybody have any good recommendations on which clinics to attend and which, if any, to avoid?

I was thinking about going to one as well in the NYC area. I've been out of the game for a while and I am rusty as hell. Plus I'm changing my style to butterfly from standup so I could use the practice.

I work Mon-Fri so I'm not sure if I can find one on the weekends.

If you want to stay local, try marvin at stamford twin rinks. Most of the stuff at Iceworks is a waste of money.

Actually, the Iceworks goalie camp was rather good. The Islanders goalie coach ran it along with Bryan Trottier, with guest appearances from DP and Snow, and some others. There were plenty of qualified instructors giving each goalie personal instruction. Every day they focused on different aspects of the position. They have another one next week.

We are considering another camp next week at Iceland called the Crease. They have an NHL player working there. So far there are only 10 goalies signed up, so anyone who attends will get lots of good instruction. Like the Iceworks camp, they will prorate the days you decided to attend.
